Electronic Baby!

Taylor took a parenting class this year in school. Amongst everything that she was doing in April, she had her electronic baby for the weekend. She names him Jamal. By the end she said that she was going to get a nanny

Junior Miss!

Very stressful time for Taylor. April was a full month for her. She had cheer tryouts and Distinguished Young Women to also prepare for. We figured it out that all together she had to learn 8 dances. That is alot.
Taylor made the cheer team and is also Cheer Captain. So she will be busy her senior year. DYW went well even though she didn't place. All the girls are winners in my book. They all looked very beautiful in all the outfits they wore. Here are some of the pictures from the event.

WOW!

Wow! What a crazy month in a half. Well to start off, we did the Christmas thing. We went small this Christmas. My kids really didn't want a lot, so it was easy to go small. Taylor, Anna, Devin, and I went down to West Valley, to my brother's house for the afternoon. Gerald and Christopher stayed home because Christopher was sick. It was fun to spend Christmas with most of my family. Steve and his wife, Dee were unable to make it there. We ate dinner, sat around and talked, and played games. Haven't done that in a long time. It was fun.
After Christmas, was Taylor's 17th birthday! I can't believe that she is that old. It seems just like yesterday that she was a little toddler running around. She has turned into such a amazing young lady. She works hard, and is enjoying her teenage years.
Then on to January. This year so far has been interesting, to say the least. Taylor is busy with cheer. They have games, competitions starting in February and going into March. Then she has also signed up to do Junior Miss. That is at the end of April. At the end of January we found out that Taylor's cheer coach, who also worked at the Junior High her in Preston, was arrested. Two weeks before districts for Cheer. The Cheer team has really handle everything pretty good. I am sorry for the coach. It is sad to see her go because she did such an amazing job with the girls this year. It is sad to see that she made such a huge mistake that will affect her for very long time.
The other kids are still plugging along. Christopher wants to sign up for wrestling. Anna is starting to babysit more. And well, Devin. He is your typical four year old. What can I say about him. He keeps us very busy.
Gerald is still working for Walmart driving. I still work at the nursing home. So yes we are still busy. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Saturday, I get to go watch Taylor perform at districts. That will be fun. I always enjoy watching my kids perform. Well that is all for now. I will post pictures soon.

Christmas Concert at Temple Square!

Well me and the girls had a special treat this last Saturday. I took the girls and my two nieces to the Christmas Concert at Temple Square. It was so much fun. My dad had somehow got a hold of five tickets. It was very nice of him to give them up to us girls to go to the concert.
This concert was amazing. We got to hear David Archaletta sing, the Tabernacle Choir sing. My dad had said that there was over a million in half people turned down for tickets. I am sorry those people missed out.
I am sure glad that we were able to participate. The boys went of to Chuck E Cheese and played while we were in the concert.

Ward Christmas Breakfast!

Christopher and Devin sitting on Santa's lap at the ward Christmas Breakfast. It was a Western theme breakfast. We had a couple of teenage boys play the guitar and sing, and then there was this guy that came in and did cowboy poetry. It was real nice and different.
