July 20th....

The 20th was Anna's birthday. She turned 10 years old. Wow she is growing up so fast. We didn't celebrate her birthday until the 22nd, because that is when Gerald was going to be home.
Taylor started a paper route on Monday..Holy cow...what a great responsibilty that is for her...or is that me..LOL!!! You know how that goes. She finishes drivers ed on Wednes day...then she can't get her license until Dec. Watch out everyone.
We didn't do much for the 24th. I worked of course. Gerald stayed out in the garden like he does in the summer time. It is growing good. I will have to put some pictures of it on here so that everyone can see. We are growing corn, onions, peppers, watermelon, pumpkins, and potatoes.
It is alot of fun to watch. Taylor did go to Logan with Mckenzie and her family. So she got to celebrate the 24th.
Nothing else happening around here. I can't wait until school starts, things will get back into a routine....I hope.

The Pioneer Trek....

Well as I said in the last blog, my sister and neice left for home. Then on Monday I got up at 4:00 am so that I could take Taylor to Franklin, to go on the Martin Cove Pioneer Trek. She was gone for four days. She got back last night. It sounded like she had fun. She said that it was tiring, long, hard, and fun. On Wednesday, she said that they hiked 17 miles. That is alot of miles to do with a handcart. The rest of us stayed home in a cool house. Iworked and Gerald stayed home and watched kids and cleaned out my big freezer. It is a good thing that I have him, cause my freezer would never get cleaned out by me..LOL! Gerald went back to work on Thursday. Anna birthday is on Sunday. She will be ten years old. Man these kids grow up so fast. Well that is it until next week. We will chat later. Love ya all.

Memory Game

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I, or Ryan or one of the kids had together. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about us, we'll assume you're playing the game and we'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

The past exciting week....

Well I just thought that I would catch everyone up on what is going on. Last week I had my sister staying with me. She has been out here for about a month, but with what has been going on with my dad we haven't spent much time together. So last week was out week. We just played games and shopped. It was fun. We also became a Wii family. We now get to enjoy playing the Wii. It has been alot of fun to have. We have been having bowling tournaments. My sister took my kids to Bear Lake on Wednesday for a swim in the lake with my brother that lives in Nibley, UT. We do this every summer with him. What a fun tradition. Me and Devin did not go. We stayed home and enjoyed the peace and quiet. At least as much as you can with an active one year old. Devin is finally in the nursery at church. What a great invention for moms. I work in the library, so it is nice to finally have him in the nursery. I was getting scared that he would pull out all the pictures. What a mess that would be. Cindy and Heather, my sister and neice, left sunday to go back home. So now we are trying to get back into the normal routine. That is all for now.....write more next week.

Here it is another week. I spent Monday in Alpine, UT with my Dad. My sister and I took him for his stress test at the doctors office. This is a three hour test. So why he was doing this test my sister and I went out for breakfast, and she went and got her hair done. Then we picked him and ate lunch and ran errands for him. Cause until he gets his pace maker he is grounded. He can not drive...bummer. I was actually able to leave all kids behind. That was nice. Haven't had time to myself like that in a couple of years. Now I am sitting at home wishing I was asleep. I worked a grave last night. And have to go back to work at 5 tonight. Not much else is going on..Pretty boring today. Tomorrow...will be a whole nother day....

My first Blog........

Well this is the first time that I have done a blog. I am sitting here wondering what to say for my first blog. My kids and I are sitting here watching tv. Favorite pass time at night. My husband is on the road to Billings, Montana.
So we live a pretty normal life. Not much exciting things happen, but alot of just funny events happen. We live are life trying to keep the one year old out of things and off of things. He is my climber. He likes to take hold of your finger and lead you to what he wants. He sees no need to talk...we just follow him and give him what he wants...Not good, I know. He is the youngest though, and probably the most spoiled.
My oldest, is my daughter who is 14, Taylor. She is definitely a teenager. She has the rolling of the eyes down pat. She loves dancing, clogging, and all the teenage things, like texting, laying around, sleeping until noon, and hanging out with friends, etc.
My second child Anna, who is 9 soon to be 10. Is my most dramatic. She loves to play basketball and is very much a social lite. She is a lot of fun to watch.
The oldest son is Christopher, who is 8 soon to be 9. He is very challenging. He is very inquisitive little boy..but loads of fun, and a big character.
My husband, Gerald, is a truck driver for Walmart. Enjoys it. Not the not being at home, but the work. When he is home he loves to be outside working on the garden and yard. I always say that I am a truck driver widow during the winter and truck drivers and garden worker widow in the summer. He works hard to provide for his family.
Now as for me, I am going nuts. I work anywhere from two to five days a week. Depending on how much they need me or if I take someone shift for them. I enjoy my work. There are times when I would like to get away from it sometimes, but for the most part I enjoy the people that I work for and the elderly that I take care of. I am also trying to lose weight. The other day I went in to the DMV to get my liscence renewed and my daughters driving permit...YIKES!! Stay off the sidewalks. She starts Monday. Anyway, I realize that I have gained way too much weight since the last drivers liscence. Kind of a reality check. Not that I didn't know that I gained weight, I just wasn't realizing how much I gained. So I am going to do the never ending dieting! We will see how it goes. I will keep you posted. I may even get brave and put before and after pictures on the blog site. Will see.
Before I have a book written, I will stop. I will make it a goal to write about each of us at least once a week. Hopefully that will happen. Until the Next ONE.....
