The First Game!

So I am hoping that everyone knows what happened to Taylor the day before school. If not, here is the short version. She was invited onto the High School Cheer Team. It has been very busy since that most important phone call. She has been learning and practicing about 65 cheers so that she could cheer at the first game. Taylor had 2 weeks to learn those cheers. Last night was the High Schools first home game. Taylor's first game to cheer at. I went to the game with my dad. It was fun to watch Taylor cheer and to watch how excited she was to be there. It is a proud moment to see one of you children, who has worked so hard to achieve, to actually achieve that goal. And watch her to work just as hard and with the same momentum that she did when she was trying to reach the goal. She did a fantastic job at the game. I never thought that we would have a cheerleader in the home.
We also had Christopher's first soccer game. His dad went to that game. Christopher loves to play soccer and football. We missed the football sign ups, but made th soccer ones this year. He has really improved in his soccer skills. His dad said that he really did a good job. He also has a very good coach this year. He teaches those kids to play in their positions and to stay in those positions and not be all over the field. I think that is a plus. They are being taught the right way. Needless to say we only have one camera, and video player wasn't charge, so we didn't get pictures of Christopher's soccer game. By the way, he won. The score was 4 to 1.
