EXCITING NEWS!!!!

No I am not pregnant. Our morning started off quiet normal morning. Busy getting school supplies marked, making sure that they have everything that they need. Then my phone rang. It was a teacher from the High School. What could my child have done. She hasn't even started school yet. So I listened. It was the cheer coach, calling to see if Taylor still wanted to be on the team. Sad for the girl that had to be taken off the team, but excited for the opportunity that Taylor will have to be on the team.
So at noon, the whole team came over , with flowers and balloons to invite her onto the team. She was so excited. Now her year is going to be very busy.
CONGRATULATION TAYLOR! WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU!

Wind Storm.....

Are exciting night! We got the big wind storm from SLC last night. We spent the night out watching our 80 foot tree sway back and forth in the wind. While it was swaying its branches were breaking and falling. We were lucky that none of them fell on the house. They just fell on the garage.
This is a little bit of the siding that came apart in the wind. What is left of a branch that fell.
This is the back of the house.
These branches had fallen in the dog kennel. Yes we removed the dog before too many of them fell.
Branches on the garage.
Over half of our corn is gone. Got laid flat.
More corn. We are hoping that maybe we still might get some corn from the stalks.
Tree branch that missed the house.

Decieving Packages!!

Gerald and I were out running a few errands today after and appointment that we had. We had stopped in at ALCO to grab a couple of sprinklers for the yard, when we caught glimpse of some pools that were 40% off. Of course we couldn't pass it up. So we bought just a little kiddie pool for the kids to swim around in. We thought that it looked like alot of fun to play in. Here are the pictures.

This is the packaging from the pool. Look how fun it looks to play in.

Doesn't this look just like the packaging. Fun pool.

Too bad that it didn't look like the pool on the package. But my kids still enjoyed playing in it. Especially Devin.

July has come and gone!

Wow July left with a bang. It has been a busy month for us. At the beginning of the month I had my sister out visiting for a couple of days with her two kids. They ended up taking my kids to the fireworks on the 4th. Cause I was lucky and got to work. Then on the 20th we celebrated Anna's birthday. Sorry no pictures. I am a horrible mother. Happy Birthday Anna. She is now 11 years old. Growing up so fast. She will be in Junior High this year. Of course, Gerald and I spent our time working, cleaning, watching and spending time with our kids. We have also had some rough times this month. Nothing major, just a few rough patches. We made it thru and hopefully things will get better. Taylor went to cheer camp this last weekend. It sounded like she had sooo much fun. She made cheer captain for her squad. Congratulations Taylor. She is such a hard worker. Now we are into August. School shopping, School shopping, and more School shopping. Then school starts on the 26th for us. It seems that the summer has just flown by. How fast the days are going. Oh yeah we also have another birthday. Christopher will turn 10 on the 20th. Maybe I will get pictures.
