Toddlers say and do the cutest things!

So last night, in an attempt to get Devin to go to bed at a decent hour. Which is hard to do sometimes. I asked him if he wanted to lay down with me and make sure that I go to sleep. So, of course, he said yeah, and got his pillow and blankets, crawled up on the bed by me, and got comfortable. As we were laying there, he points to one eye, and says close eye mommy, then points to the other one and says the same thing. Then precedes to tell me to go to seep(sleep) mommy. I thought that was just too cute and funny. He says the funniest things, and is such fun to have in our home.

Dodger Game got sold out!

So on our fourth day we were going to take the kids to a Dodger Game. But they were sold out. The kids were real disappointed. We will know next time to get the tickets in advance. So instead of going to the game, we took the kids to a place in Ventura, called Golf 'n' Stuff. This is just a minature golf place. It also has your arcade games, race tracks to race little cars on, and bumper boats. The kids had alot of fun playing golf. Taylor and Heather, my niece, did the race cars. Christopher and Anna did the bumper boats.

Taylor, Anna, and Christopher!

This sign has a story behind it. We were teasing my husband about him saying that he wanted his thongs. Back in our teenage days that is what we called our flip flops. But my oldest daughter would tease him about it. Then we saw this sign. I am sure you could probably figure out the rest. We had a good laugh.

My two year old playing his version on Golf 'N' Stuff. Running around all the building that they have on each hole. He had fun getting us to chase him around.

Solvang.....!

This has go to be one of my favorite places to go to in California. It has change a lot in the last 10 years. It seems like it has gotten bigger. We walked around the town. I bought my normal purchase, fudge. Can't leave without having their fudge. We also had some pull apart cinnamon bread.
While we were there they had some cyclist that were riding their bikes from San Francisco to LA. They were quite interesting to see. After we were done touring the stores in Solvang, we found this nice little park that had barbecues set up. That is were we ate dinner and let the kids play.

This is one of the cyclist. It was red day for them. They rode their bikes in these outfits.

Another set of cyclist. Don't they look cute.

These guys were kind of funny. He actually wore those shoes while riding his bike.

Here is some scenery of Solvang!

This is my sister Cindy, trying on a wooden shoe. I think it is a little too big!

This was a wooden bench with carving of Dolphins. My girls thought that it was too hot to sit on.
