Mean Parents!

So last Saturday Taylor wanted to take a couple of her friends to Logan, to eat and see a movie. So we told her that she could go and have some fun. Then Gerald and I decided that we would go out to eat at Texas Roadhouse that night also. So my daughter got to take the nice Van and we took the old beat up Trooper to Logan.
We got down to Logan at about an hour after Taylor left. We had a wonderful dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Love their food. Then we decided that we go ahead and go home. But before we went home we called Taylor to see if she was out of the Movie yet. Of course she said that she was and that they were stopping at Kohls then going home. So we took the opportunity to have fun with our daughter and her friends.
Can you guess what we did? We took the van and moved it behind a BIG PILE OF SNOW. Then we sat and waited for them to come out of Kohls. They walked around in 6 degree weather looking for the van. It was funny to watch. Taylor kept calling us to find out where that van was. We let it go for about 15 minutes. Then we decided that we had better let her know where the van was. It was pretty funny. Of course we might regret it later. She will probably get revenge on us.

Sorry! LIfe....

Well I am so behind in my blog. I did post a little bit about Christmas, but there has been a lot going on since then. Taylor had her 16th birthday. Wow. I have a sixteen year old in the house. She has been really waiting to turn sixteen. Can guess why? Bet you can't. No it wasn't because she could start dating, it was so that she could drive in Utah. By herself. My daughters priorities can be a little crazy sometimes. I would have went for the dating.
Then we had New Years Day. Didn't do much except work. We are such a boring family, lately. Then on the 15th of January my baby turned 3 years old. WOW! Time flies by fast. I can't believe that he is three years old. Amazing. Where has the time gone.
We all have been busy working and playing. Taylor is getting ready for Cheer Competition in Pocatello on the 13th of February. Gerald has been working, I have been working more. And the other three have been enjoying their time in the snow playing and playing with friends. We haven't done much this year so far. We have joined the gym here in town. They have remodeled it and put a Olympic size pool in. That will keep us busy as a family and getting in better shape. I will post pictures of Devin's birthday a little later. But for now this is our life in a nutshell.

Christmas!

Well it has been awhile since I have put anything down. We have had Christmas, Taylor's Birthday, and the New Year. And I have written anything. Shame! Shame!
Christmas was good. We had a pretty good day. My kids I think really enjoyed what they received from Santa. Taylor got her first Laptop, Anna got a Nintendo ds, Christopher got a Pellet gun, and Devin got some Handy Manny toys. Gerald received his Laptop this year, and I got a new phone. We all made out pretty good this year.

Amazing Teachers!!

Anna graduated from Speech. We are so proud of her. Her counselor a couple of years ago, told her that he would dress up in a dress when she finished speech. So on Wednesday morning, at her first class, Mr. Strong showed up in a dress and gave her, her certification of completion. Wow. It was so cool that he still honored this promise. Koodoos to Mr. Strong.

WE are in TROUBLE!!!

Okay having a two year old in the house has been so much fun. He is such a vibrant little boy. And very smart. But I think that when he gets older we are in trouble. Big trouble. This little boy knows exactly what he wants. He loves watching Dora and Handy Manny.
The other day when I was at work, Gerald was playing around with him and he kept saying that he wanted a Handy Manny toy. So Gerald thought that this was an opportunity to maybe start potty training our child by bribing him with a toy. Not going to happen. Gerald told him that he would get him a Handy Manny toy if he went potty in the toilet. Devin told him "No, you get me the toy first, then I go potty in the toilet. Gerald said that he did this several times with him. I think that we are in big trouble with this little guy. He is already trying to negotiate things with us.
