Updates!

Well it has been awhile since I have done any writing on my blog. So, here it goes. We have been busy. Or should I say Taylor has been busy since State Competition. The rest of us have taken it easy. Taylor got to rest over spring break, then when school was back in session, tryouts started for Cheer. They really put those girls thru alot of practices. At times she wouldn't get home until eight o'clock at night. They finally ended Thursday night. She did her tryout in front of the judges Thursday night. She didn't get home until almost 11pm. She said the tryouts were long. The school holds a dance the next night to let everyone know who made it for the exect council for next year and who made the Cheer Squad. So Taylor will spend her Junior, yes Junior year as a Cheerleader. We are so prooud. She scored up in top 5 in points. Very proud of her hard work. So needless to say her summer will be filled with parades, practices, and camps. She will be busy.

The rest of us have just been doing the normal thing. The three younger kids started swimming lessons at the gym. Devin enjoys it, except he doesn't like to put his face into the water.

Easter was a nice day. We did our traditional egg coloring the day before. Then on Easter Sunday we just kind of relaxed and enjoyed the day. Didn't do awhole lot. Did take some pictures of the kids. We had a bombfire out in the back yard. That is always alot of fun. We even got to burn Jack Jr. at the stake. (Scarecrow).

Trip Home from Boise!

The trip home was a lot of fun. We decided to take the scenic route home from Boise. So we went to Idaho City, Ketchum, Sun Valley, Shoshonne Falls, and then home. Saw a lot of beautiful land, some animals, like Elk and a Snow Fox. We took a lot of pictures. These are just some of them. There is a lot of pretty land here in Idaho. It was fun to taking our time getting home. Enjoyed the weekend.

State Competition....Boise Idaho

This last week end was State Cheer Competition for Taylor. It was a lot of fun. I went up with one of the other cheer mom's. We had a slot of fun. We spent the whole weekend up in Boise. The girls missed placing by a 1/2 point. That is disappointing, but they were awesome to watch. What a great experience for Taylor. I am really proud of attitude and outlook on the way it ended. She just is such a good sport on things. She was disappointed that they didn't place, but new that there is next year. And that they just need to work a little harder. I wish that we could all have that attitude on things.

Here are just a few pictures. Sorry they aren't the best picture. I think that I need a new camera. When they had out the awards, all the teams go out onto the floor. It was cool too see all those teams out on the floor.

Potty Training!

Potty Training. I have four kids, three of them I never had to potty train. They just started wearing big kids underwear, and that was it. My Devinator. Well we worried about him. I was not sure how to potty train him. He wanted nothing to do with going potty in the toilet. I was kind of worried that he would be 5 and going into kindergarten wearing diapers. LOL! Then last week on Tuesday. It happened. Daddy I want to wear big kid underwear. And that was it. He has been going in that bathroom all by himself . We only had one day of accidents.

I am so excited to be done with diapers. So if anyone needs advice on potty training, don't come to me. I have no clue how to potty train. Mine just do it on their own.

Congratulations Devin, for being such a big boy. We are proud of you.

Districts!

Well Taylor had districts this last Saturday. The girls place 1st in the stunt routine, 2nd in stunt show, and 3rd in the sideline cheer. They will be going to state in March. Taylor is so excited.

I am still trying to get the dvd downloaded onto my computer. So as soon as that happens I will post the dvd on her so that you can see the cheers and stunts.

Not much else has been happening. Taylor is busy with Cheer. Hopefully that will slow down some. I have been busy at work, and the kids have just been doing alot of swimming at the gym. They have really enjoyed the swimming.
